Stuttgart Sightseeing Tour

Guided walk along the most important sights like National Theater, State Parliament and Old and New Castle. You will enjoy the historic part of Stuttgart city centre.

In the centre of Stuttgart is its main square, the Schlossplatz. As well as being the largest square in Stuttgart, it stands at the crossover point between the city's shopping area, Schlossgarten park which runs down to the river Neckar, Stuttgart's two central castles and major museums and residential areas to the south west. Königstraße, Stuttgart's most important shopping street which runs along the northwestern edge of Schlossplatz, claims to be the longest pedestrianised street in Germany.

Stuttgart is known for its rich cultural heritage, in particular its State Theatre (Staatstheater) and State Gallery (Staatsgalerie). The Staatstheater is home to the State opera and three smaller theatres and it regularly stages opera, ballet and theatre productions as well as concerts. The Staatstheater was named "Theatre of the year" of Germany, Austria and Switzerland  in 2006; the Stuttgart Opera has won the "Opera of the year" award six times. Stuttgart Ballet is connected to names like John Cranko and Marcia Haydée.

Sightseeing & Shopping, bus tour (6h)

-   The tour starts with a guided sightseeing along sights like National Gallery, Opera Hall and State Parliament, passing the Panoramastreet with a good view above Stuttgart. Before going back to town centre you will come around the Killesberg, Pragsattel and Wilhelma.
-   At the Old and New Castle you will have a short walk through the historical city centre of Stuttgart.
-   The next stop is at Stuttgart Television Tower, which is the first of its sort in the world. Going up the tower you will have an amazing view above Stuttgart.

After a short break during which you have the possibility to have lunch the tour will take you to the OUTLETCITY METZINGEN, where different outlet stores are within easy reach. Besides Hugo Boss, there is a unique portfolio of brands with many "flagship outlets" of international trademarks, such as Burberry, Polo Ralph Lauren, Joop! and many more - all to be found in award-winning architecture.
